Syvir AntiPDoS

Features

At a glance view into endpoint vector sensors.

Visualize kernel usage.
Determine if a PDoS attack is occurring.
Receive alarms if endpoint internal components get stressed or start having issues.

Synthetic Testing
Detect changes in performance which could signal a PDoS attack. See if an emerging problem causes breakdown of endpoints hardware.
Syvir AntiPDoS is practically the first AntiPDoS software package that tackles permanent denial of service attacks.
Permanent denial of service (PDoS) attacks can render endpoint hardware useless, irrevocably damaging the hardware beyond use, facilitating the need for an expensive replacement. With time consuming consequences for the owner. Along with hardware replacement potentially data may be forever lost, some backups may fail leaving the user in a perilous position. The knock-on effect can cause huge damage to any organization.

Syvir AntiPDoS addresses these issues.
Detecting a PDoS attack is notoriously difficult. Hardware attacks can come in many guises.
For instance, an attacker could enable cooling fans to be switched off causing the machine to overheat and cooking processors rendering them useless.
With the advent of so-called Internet of Things (IoT) devices, such attacks are becoming more prevalent. Antivirus, security and network monitoring software may not detect such attacks.
Without deep packet inspection of incoming data, a PDoS attack is hard to predict. Where data is encrypted, this becomes a problem.
Clearly some form of detection protection is needed in the event of a PDoS attack. Syvir AntiPDoS helps empower you to make sure if a PDoS attack happens on your endpoint, a hardware scan can check if any hardware is being damaged and alert you to this.

AntiPDoS monitors several metric variables of internal components.
AntiPDoS classify these into algorithms.
Several algorithms are used to determine if a PDoS attack is being carried out on the device. Once certain system conditions are exceeded an automatic hardware test is performed.
