Data Encryption attacks attack

Malware unlawfully encrypts data on the endpoints hard drive, the encryption keys are

attacker-controlled keys. Syvir Endpoint monitors the hard drive for data load an indicator

that the hard drive files are being encrypted. The DteA sensor will be set to DOWN

indicating a possible attack may be in progress.
