Syvir Managed is a is a managed security service for MSPs that automates protection from hardware attacks.

The Syvir Managed platform built for MSPs with 24/7 monitoring of hardware attacks.

Runs in the background so you have peace of mind that your clients systems are being protected from hardware damage.

Syvir Managed works in conjunction with

Syvir Endpoint,Syvir Server,Syvir Tablet and Syvir VM.

01

Assessment

Syvir Managed evaluates your systems to identify hardware vulnerabilities.

02

Strategy

Advise you on the best plan to monitor hardware.

03

Implement

Help you deploy advanced SaaS cloud to monitor hardware.

We don’t rely on other vendors tools. We research and build our own tech stack. 24/7 protection against threats.

Most MSPs can’t afford 24/7 staff monitoring endpoints for hardware attacks. Our Managed service combined with our endpoint service monitors your hardware for attacks.

Detect hardware attacks..

Through monitoring of PDoS, Phlashing and DoS threats, Syvir Managed service allows you to see attacks and report to you hardware attacks.

Advanced Technology

Syvir cloud solutions provide unrivaled visibility into PDoS attacks, in a fully integrated cloud service.Visualize kernel usage. Determine if a PDoS attack is occurring with anomaly-based detection.

Real-Time Threat Detection

Receive alarms if internal components get stressed or start having issues.Detect changes in performance which could signal a PDoS attack.

Your guide to Hardware attacks

This is a short guide to the different types of hardware attacks....

Permanent Denial of Service (PDoS) attacks can render hardware useless, irrevocably damaging the hardware beyond use, facilitating the need for an expensive replacement. With time consuming consequences for the owner. Along with hardware replacement potentially data may be forever lost, some backups may fail leaving the user in a perilous position. The knock-on effect can cause huge damage to any organization.

Firmware can be re-flashed with malware. This can brick hardware making it un-useable. In particular the BIOS UEFI being re-flashed will cause boot-up issues.

Hackers will try and increase the voltage of the CPU, this will lead to reliability issues and possible breakdown. When a CPU voltage change is detected, the Syvir Voltage Change sensor is set to DOWN. When a change is detected, a hardware component test is performed every five minutes for several hours. This test alerts you if components start being stressed or a component driver has an issue.

As with CPU Voltage, Hackers will try and increase the clock speed of the CPU, this will lead to reliability issues and possible breakdown. When a CPU clock speed change is detected, the Syvir Clock Speed sensor is set to DOWN. When a change is detected, a hardware component test is performed every five minutes for several hours. This test alerts you if components start being stressed or a component driver has an issue..

A hacker may try and insert a fake type of USB stick that generates a high voltage into the Endpoint. Syvir Endpoint checks the USB hub for issues, if a high voltage attack occurs, the USBK sensor will not be able to stop the attack, but maybe able; before the USB hub or whole motherboard is fried, to send an alarm and email. In that instance you can then check other endpoints for malicious USB killer.

Syvir AntiPDoS technology incorporates Vector Phase Sensors that monitor key system metric like Kernel. A Permanent Denial of Service attack may create a lot of LLA kernel use that will generate a PDoS alarm.

A Denial-of-service (DoS) attack is a system-on-system attack. A Denial-of-service cyber attack inundates the VM with excessive traffic or resource requests, the result of this renders the VM unusable to the user. Security perimeters are often not breached with a DoS attack, so conventional security software may not detect such an attack.
