Syvir Managed Services are designed to monitor endpoints for types of hardware attacks that cause physical damage to internal components.
hardware protection services
Syvir Cloud Security services are built, owned and operated by our own team.
Our systems will spot hardware & software attacks before they trash your network endpoints and cause irreplaceable damage.
Syvir Managed is a cybersecurity service that automates protection from hardware attacks. Automated reporting of PDoS, Phlashing, Voltage Change, Clock Speed attacks,USB voltage attacks, data encryption and DoS attacks.
Permanent Denial of Service (PDoS) attacks can render endpoint hardware useless, irrevocably damaging the hardware beyond use.
Firmware can be re-flashed with malware. This can brick the endpoint making it un-useable.
Hackers will try and increase the voltage of the CPU, this will lead to reliability issues and possible breakdown.
As with CPU Voltage, Hackers will try and increase the clock speed of the CPU, this will lead to reliability issues and possible breakdown.
A hacker may try and insert a fake type of USB stick that generates a high voltage into the machine, this will fry the USB hub and possibly the motherboard...
Malware placed on a endpoint can encrypt your data. Syvir Managed cloud services constaly monitor your hard drive activity to spot any unusal data activity.

Permanent Denial of Service (PDoS) attacks can render endpoint hardware useless, irrevocably damaging the hardware beyond use, facilitating the need for an expensive replacement. With time consuming consequences for the owner. Along with hardware replacement potentially data may be forever lost, some backups may fail leaving the user in a perilous position. The knock-on effect can cause huge damage to any organization.
Firmware can be re-flashed with malware. This can brick the endpoint making it un-useable. In particular the BIOS UEFI being re-flashed will cause boot-up issues.
Hackers will try and increase the voltage of the CPU, this will lead to reliability issues and possible breakdown. When a CPU voltage change is detected, the Syvir Endpoint Voltage Change sensor is set to DOWN. When a change is detected, a hardware component driver test is performed every five minutes for several hours. This test alerts you if a component driver has an issue.

A hacker may try and insert a fake type of USB stick that generates a high voltage into the Endpoint . Syvir Endpoint checks the USB hub for issues, if an immediate high voltage attack occurs, the USBK sensor will not be able to stop the attack, but maybe able; before the USB hub or whole motherboard is fried, to send an alarm and email. In that instance you can then check other endpoints for malicious USB killer.
Syvir AntiPDoS technology incorporates Vector Phase Sensors that monitor key system metric like Kernel. A Permanent Denial of Service attack may create a lot of LLA kernel use that will generate a PDoS alarm.
